Cheap knobs

We bought this cooktop in2020 and did not use until our home was completed in July on 2021. Everything work great for about the first year but then the knobs began to break until eventually all five had broken. We check the LG website for replacement knobs and found youd pay a ridiculous price for just one knob You would think LG would replace the knobs since they were made so cheap and everybody seems to have the same problem. Needless to say we are very disappointed with our purchase and would think twice before buying another LG product.

I bought this in March 2021from Jetson but wasnt install until June2021 when kitchen was completed. This cook their nobs are to close to the burners which gets to hot. I dont know how to send a picture

I purchased this due to the various options in cooking. So far so good the convection over is so quite that I have had to check to make sure the fans are running. I have yet to try the air fryer since I have yet to purchase to optional air fryer rack and broiler pan. I am not sure yet about the air fryer feature since its says to open windows and doors when using that function.

The five burners offer great temp control. The smallest is great for holding cream sauces at the right temp not letting them get to hot and separating. The center and largest burner heats a large pot of water in no time.

LG is Not LIfe is Good

I bought this from Best Buy and got it delivered on 2/11. Got this installed a month later by a contractor remodeling my kitchen. The SuperBoil was a SuperFlop. The electrical part did not work. So brand new out of the box already an issue. Called Best Buy to return and replace and they said I missed the return window by 3 days so they would not return/replace. They gave me LGs # to get it serviced. Got it scheduled and a week later the repair man showed up. He asked me why I just didnt get it replaced that that should have been the proper thing to do...explained my experience with Best Buy and he was shocked. So he ordered the parts and here I am waiting still waiting on the final repair. I bought the double oven/Fridge/dishwasher and microwave all from LG collection. If it wasnt too late I would return them all. The dishwasher does not dry all the dishes after washes the fridge french doors slam hard when I go to close and the double oven lower heats faster than the upper oven....wow I thought I would honestly be an LG appliance guy since the washer and dryer I have have been good so far after 3 years. At one point to think I was thinking of buying their LG HU85LA but this experience has definitely changed my mind.

Horrible Knobs

i purchased this stove top and the double oven 11 months ago. lets start with the oven. After 2 uses the oven made a horrible noise. Bestbuy came out to repair . The fan blade was a defect . Had a slight bend to it. Replaced it. The stove i baby . son was using it and he couldnt turn the burner off. I pulled the knob off another burner and used that one to turn the burner off. They are made of cheap plastic. they look cracked and tiny pieces of plastic are fraying off. It is 37.00 to replace one knob. Yes one knob. I find that price not acceptable being they are plastic. Years ago .. LG was top of the line. Not anymore. I should have kept my old 19 year old one. It worked without fail. so much for remodeling.

Love at first sight Love the heavy Cast iron metal grill all across the cooktop. Love the design unlike other spider leg design. At first the turn knob was odd for me as I have to turn fro. Right to left. BUT makes sense when u hold a pot with your right hand and turn with left hand. Easy to clean. Smooth top just to wipe. Very detailed and thought through when designing The ONLY item I wish they included and ON light to know the stove is still on. Overall Bravo Oh did I mention eeeaaaasssyy installation? Even the gas regulator comes with it
