We bought this LG dryer 3 weeks ango and am very disappointed on the verge of angry We have not been able to use it once because it has no heat repairman came out after one week and found a bad gas valve and thermistor. 2 weeks later and he is supposed to be back tomorrow to install parts Only reason I have a one star is because there were no zero stars

We have been using it for about a month now. The controls are very intuitive. This dryer is smart enough to dry everything properly even if we have mixed size items. Never over dries. We still havent used all the features but are loving it so far.

Poor desig product standards even Poorer Service

LG and their customer service seems to be content with no product standards these days. We received our new washer and dryer set on 12/6/2023 and opened up a case with them on 12/7/2023. The units are nice looking and the washer performs good so far. The dryer is another story. The seal on the dryer door does NOT make contact with the door housing when closed. Net result is this heats up the laundry room takes longer to dry the actual clothes than my 15 yr old LG Trom unit and there is a large build up of lint and debris around the seal that falls on the ground after each cycle. What is the point of putting a seal on the door if it doesnt even make contact? Two service technicians later both whom said there are no door adjustments and LG presidential service is telling me there is nothing they can do. The LG tech was quite rude and. said this is the new design thats just how it is. The 3 party tech said he has seen similar reviews and agreed there was a design flaw. If you dont. mind cleaning. up after each load and having a sauna for a laundry room that takes longer to dry then perhaps you will be happy. I am escalating this further with Howards... Id give it stars if it would allow me. Shame on you LG...

LG dryer Door Needs Re-engineering

Why only Fair? The door on this dryer does not make a complete connection with the dryer. There is a gap at the edge of the door. I had LG appliance person check it out. He said this is a common issue/complaint with this model. I would not recommend this dryer until they fix the issue of the door. The dryer itself works ok.

Wonderful new appliance. Has larger capacity than the old one. Controls are convenient and really has some great features. Could be quieter kind of loud compared to my old washer. Otherwise we are pleased with the purchase and Costco was the best place to buy it.

I bought these machines in May 2023 and so far I am very happy with my purchase There is something I did not like the door of the dryer at the bottom where the seal is and the glass at the moment of finishing the drying always fills with fluffRemoving that the machines are very beautiful they are very modern and they work very well I have little time with them I hope they last me a long time without having to have any repairs well see how well LG does their product
