A replacement for my earlier model Bosch dishwasher. Easy installation, and quiet like my earlier model. The BIG design flaw is that when the cycle is complete it simply shuts off, no indicator light that the cycle has been completed. Major over-sight, possibly they could modify it with a sw update? But if I had known that it did not have a cycle complete indicator(like all my earlier models), I would not have bought it.

Very satisfied for the most part. The unit is a little smaller than our previous dishwasher; however, I love the quietness. You can barely tell that it is on if you are not looking directly at it. I have to be careful loading everything in to make sure our plastic food storage containers fit properly. It does a top notch job cleaning everything.

My new dishwasher replaces a much older Bosch that is 12 to 15 years old. I do not recall the model number for the old machine, but it gave very good service. The new one is much more modern in design. The old one was extremely quiet for most of it's life. The new one is also very quiet and does avery good job of cleaning the dishes. I am very satisfied at this point and I recommend Bosch to my friends.

We wanted to install the 500 series unit, but discovered that our kitchen counters are too short. So the only choice was the ADA version of the 300 series. Installation was straightforward, and the crew working through Lowe's was efficient. We expected this unit to be loud, given its higher noise rating. Surprise! We can't hear it when it's running! Dishes come out clean and spotless, and the capacity is surprisingly large, given what must be thick insulation. Overall, a great dishwasher!

I've had my Bosch 300 series now for about 2 months and I'll start off with the pros. This no doubt the quietest running dishwasher I have ever owned. There are times I forget it's even running because it's so quiet. The Stainless Steel tub is impressive as well as the sleek look of it is an eyecatcher. And it certainly cleans the toughest stains there is. It did fantastic during Christmas and New Years cleaning dishes with tough stains on them. Now the Cons. I was never informed by the sales people at Bray and Scarf that this dishwasher series does not come with a heating element to heat dry dishes as I was used to. It uses some special rinse and dry element and honestly doesn't dry the dishes effectively as I would hope without wiping the dishes down with a kitchen towel. Rinsing aid is definitely needed for to effectively dry and prevent spotting which it does well. Condensation buildup in the tub is also an issue without a heating element built in as it's always wet inside unless you wipe it dry after the cycle is completed. The biggest con for me is how difficult it is to use the various features. I have yet to find a way for a wash cycle to run less than 2 plus hours. I've read the manual online and the book provided and there is nothing indicating how to set a wash cycle to run less than 2 plus hours. That doesn't seem efficient at all for a heavy dishwasher user as myself. I'm definitely disappointed in this aspect of this dishwasher. Mine didn't come with a third rack as promised by the salesperson at Bray and Scarf. Overall it's a good product and I wish they would simplify the use and have wash cycles shorter than 2 plus hours.

I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent experience with a newly installed dishwasher, Model SGE53C55UC, FD Number: 9001923411.
The unit was installed only a few days ago in my new basement kitchen and, unfortunately, does not power on or start at all, despite carefully following all installation and operating instructions. This suggests a possible manufacturing defect in a brand-new appliance.
The dishwasher is within one year of its manufacturing (FD) date. As I do not have the original purchase receipt, warranty determination should reasonably be based on the manufacturing date, which I understand is standard practice under Bosch warranty guidelines.
I would also like to share feedback on my customer service experience so far. Reaching support has involved very long wait times, multiple transfers between agents, and no clear resolution or service plan. This has been disappointing, especially given that the appliance failed immediately after installation and is effectively unusable.
My intention in writing is to highlight both:
A non-functional, brand-new appliance, and
The difficulty in obtaining timely assistance to resolve the issue.
I hope this feedback helps improve the service experience going forward. I would appreciate clear guidance on next steps for warranty service, including scheduling an authorized technician visit or discussing replacement options if the unit is confirmed to be defective.

I have had this dishwasher for about a month and can't say enough good things about it. Everything comes out clean, shiny and dry. The digital time on the front allows gives me a countdown to when the dishwasher is complete. I love that it has a built in salt option to soften water. I am so pleased I went with Bosch!

Been using this for about a month and it has worked great. Dishes are clean every time. The silverware container could use wider holes in the top and the knife drawer on top doesn't fit all of my knives.

I'm so pleased. Many years ago, I had a Bosch dishwasher. However, when we relocated, I just used the one that came with our house. When it no longer worked, My appliance repair man suggested I replace it with one that he has. Wow! I'd forgotten how efficient and quiet a dishwasher could be.With just two of us, it takes three to four days to fill the dishwasher. There is no smell from the unwashed dishes. They are perfectly washed as if I'd just put them in. I have nothing but praise for my new Bosch. Thanks for bringing me into the 21st century

I needed a slightly smaller version of dishwasher to fit under my counter and Bosch had just what I needed. It still has all the amenties of the larger versions and is so efficient and soooo quiet. It is attractive and an overall joy to use.

We purchased the dishwasher on 12/19 last year and waited until 1/24 to be delivered. The dishwasher broke at the end of June. We we're traveling so didn't have a chance to call the service right away, instead we waited until August. After we scheduled the service for 9/11 (a month after), the technician came, after 5 minutes looking around the dishwasher said he doesn't have the tool to remove the molding around the dishwasher, so he'll have to come back. The technician also said it was the pump that is broken and he needs to order a new part, which should take 2-3 weeks to come. No one contacted us for more then a month. We called Bosch service again on 9/29 and they told us the replacement part is coming in on 11/19. I guess then we'll have to call again to schedule a new service.
The frustration around this product is beyond anything we ever experienced. Total disappointment with Bosch and their service, customer support and their terrible quality. We will never purchase another Bosch product

This is the first Bosch appliance we have ever purchased. After a long time without a working dishwasher, we decided to invest our money on a high-quaity product. We read many reviews and went to stores (Howard's, Lowe's and Home Depot) to visually inspect the dishwashers and see the features in person. Because of our available space, we purchased the ADA Bosch dishwasher. It is amazing! Sleek in style and design and oh so quiet. Everything about it is perfect for us. Bosch is worth the extra spend. I have been without a dishwasher for over 3 months. My new Bosch was delivered in July but has never gotten hot. we call for service and the tech said that it may take up to 2 weeks to get a new heat pump and control board but it has been over 4 weeks now and still no resolution. No product, no parts and no service.

I really did not want a smart dish washer. I begged the sales man and he said this is all the offer now. Okay. I got this one to replace my old 'dummy' Bosch dishwasher. They have their own quirks, like dishwasher salt, which could turn people off, but I was already used to it. I did not want to set up any of the smart home stuff, so I do wish they sold one without those features since I'm paying for them anyway. It's quiet, reliable, and I use it everyday.

We finally had to replace our worn out dishwasher. Since we are limited with space, we needed an ADA compliant dishwasher. I was resigned to the fact that our choices would be limited as well. When we settled on a Bosch, I was hopeful that it would at least be a quality appliance but WOW, I never expected it to be as wonderful as it is! My dishes have never been so clean, I no longer have to rinse them prior to loading and it ever lets me know when it's finished through the Bosch app - which is something else I love! It fits much more than I thought it would and the flex racks are perfect. All that and it is whisper quiet. I never thought dishwashing could be so enjoyable. I highly recommend this Bosch dishwasher to anyone looking for an ADA appliance.

No fancy detergents or rinses, just plain clean and no residue. I can see why people love their BOSCH dishwashers - they work! Even the stuck on overnight food comes clean. The only reason for 4 stars is that it is a little difficult to fit a lot of bowls with the way the tines are set up. I do like how the top rack has an adjustable height feature. Overall, I have no regrets.

Say goodbye to baked on or burned on grease and grime. We do as a matter of habit, but I genuinely believe that there's no need at all for pre-cleaning/washing. We've only had it a few months, so longevity is unknown, but it is a wonderful dish-cleaner -- even pots and pans!

I find that the dishwasher does an excellect job of washing, is very quiet, and fits well into a space which is a little too short for many models. The only disappointing feature to me is that several minutes after a cycle is complete, there is nothing on the display confirming completion. It just becomes blank as if nothing had been done, and sometimes I am not sure if I had even started it earlier. My previous Bosch dishwasher would leave the time of 0:00 displayed after completion (even overnight) until I opened the rack, and I really miss that feature.

After a few months I have no complaints. It has very many settings, but I just turn it on and hit start. "Normal" setting seems fine. I open it for air drying an hour or two just like my previous machine. I didn't need or use the drying fluid. Beware that you should get the app and link it to WiFi. Mine did a software update right away.

This is my first Dishwasher and needless to say it does not have dry feature. You would think paying a lot for this product it be included. I was told I need 800 or 500 series. How much more is that?

I have no complaints about this dishwasher. My only disappointment is that there is space around the machine on the sides between the bosch and the cabinetry. My old one fit flush against the cabinetry. I had to get the one for handicapped use, as the regular one was 1/4 inch too tall.

I'm very happy with how clean my dishes come out. The machine is also pretty quiet. But there is no good way to load bowls. If you have more than 3 bowls, you lose over half the space for plates or glasses/mugs.
The one main issue that should have been mentioned in the product description before purchase is that this model comes with a built in water softener that requires a special dishwasher salt. To use the machine, you must know what your water hardness is, and that is not easy to find out. Come to find out, water testing strips are not accurate. I had to make many calls to the water department, City, and water quality lab, and then we had to figure out how to convert their measurement units to what Bosch uses. The Bosch manual warns of damage to the machine if you don't set this up correctly if your water is anything but the softest on the measurement scale. I knew my water is definitely not soft, and who wants to risk damage to a $1000 new machine! I bought my machine at Home Depot, and they knew nothing about any of this when I went back to ask. They also don't sell the dishwasher salt. I was able to order the salt on Amazon, but even with Amazon Prime, delivery time was 3 days. By the time I got the salt and set up my machine to use for the first time, only to find out the detergent and rinse aid dispenser was defective, it was beyond the 48 hours Home Depot covers to fix any issues. So then I had to call Bosch and wait for them to send someone to replace the defective dispenser which took over a week. Pretty frustrating, but at least now the machine works well.
