I had a Bosch microwave I loved. I found the closest model, as they don't make the old one anymore. I much preferred the old one but this one is ok. It is smaller and does not offer 2 racks. It also has white lighting so it now does not match the red lights on my Bosch stove (like the old model did). It serves the purpose but I wish I had my old one!

I bought this to replace a 22 year old unit that finally failed. This 300 series unit has a modern look that goes well with our other stainless steel appliances. It heats quickly and evenly. The stovetop light is a huge improvement compared to our other unit. Installation was straightforward and went without any problems.

Purchased 3 Bosch appliances in mid-May 2025 and two were in stock, but the over the range microwave took five and a half months to be delivered and now we found out the handle was damaged with splits which we now need a new handle

This was a replacement for our previous Bosch microwave, which had more advanced features that we didn't use or need. I would have given it a five but this model just wasn't the same quality.
We only use a microwave to warm things up but was surprised that it sounds tinny (not as solid) when you open and close the door; the inside light is somewhat dull; and, when it starts the fan is louder then the other one we had. It also didn't reset the time when the electricity went out. Well, the other one didn't either, but I feel it should have.
The design is nice, it has easy to use controls, and it's spacious.
Although the issues I mentioned are not major ones the quality was disappointing for a high quality product.

The Bosch 300 series over the range microwave does a fabulous job of heating up water for tea, which I do often, or frozen meals or defrosting frozen meat. It is an appliance that needs to be counted on and it does the job day in and day out. Love the handle versus a push button to open the door. That just cannot be beat. All functions are easy to use. Always love a microwave clock and timer. The basics are never not needed. Thank you...

Had to replace a well used 10 year old unit and imediately looked for the closest Bosch unit to mine. With the old unit lasting 10 years of extensive use without a single complaint I am looking for more of the same dependability.

I've had this microwave for 5 years now and the only complain I have is the outer stainless housing came unglued 2 years ago and I've tried everything to get it back to stick. Other than that I had no problems with it.

Bosch told me that the average life of their microwaves is 12 years. So why did mine last just 4 with less than average use? VERY disappointing.

Purchased this unit to replace exact same one that was purchased 7 years ago. Original unit had to be serviced 3 times (internal fuses) Replaced with Bosch again only because it had to match all of the existing Bosch appliances. Not happy with quality. Dishwasher serviced once. Refrigerator needed gasket replacement and ice maker replaced. All units installed 7 years ago

We replaced an older 300 series microwave with this model. The templates and installation instructions were not exactly right -- the instructions called for three bolts in the top, but the unit only has two. The bolt hole locations were off, and the power cord hole was indicated on the wrong side of the template.
The unit itself fits perfectly, but Bosch took out a lot of the nice bells and whistles in the previous model. The light only has one brightness level, and there's no light timer. A lot of the one-touch buttons are gone. But the old unit's light shields were no longer replaceable, and the chrome trim at the top fell off due to age in the plastic ears. Hoping that this unit lasts fifteen years. It matches our other Bosch appliances, is quieter than the previous microwave, and does a fine job defrosting, reheating and other basic microwave tasks. Would have gone with the next model up, but the vertical depth was just a bit too big to fit our existing tile backsplash. Adequate would describe this unit.

I have enjoyed many Bosch appliances, but have never had their over the stove microwave. Besides cooking everything evenly, it is the quietest microwave I have ever owned. The bright white interior Gives you easy viewing to make sure everything is cleaned after finishing up all the aspects of cooking or heating up our meals. It's a great microwave!

It worked a out 2 years and most of the time we wanted to use and start it, it sparks with very loud and scary sound, and stops working. Last time it sparked and sound was almost like an explosion and it never worked again. This is really safety concern level to have this microvave in kitchen. It's out of warranty due to more than a year in use but this is really product quality issue.

Microwave works well and is easy to use. Only things I don't love is that theres no express buttons - i.e. when you press 1, it doesn't start 1 minute automatically. Not a huge issue though

I had to replace my Bosch Microwave this month and chose this model because it could be installed without any adjustments to the previous mount. None of the stores in my area had any Bosch Microwaves on display.
I am extremely disappointed with this model, the numbers and words are extremely small and almost impossible to read. The glare from the black panel they are written on does not help either, and there is no back lighting. I cannot imagine why they chose this panel design.
Seriously, get out your reading glasses and a flashlight!! And Yes, I removed the protective film.
I rated it a 1 because if you can't see what you're trying to do it's pretty worthless.
