Strong fan, couldn't get Wifi to work

Just had this hood installed last week to replace a 20 yr old Viking fan. Love the 600 cfm capability, though I find a lower speed is more than adequate for most of my cooking. The underside of the hood is flat/horizontal, which makes removing the grease filters very convenient. It also makes the underside easier to clean. The only drawback is that I haven't been able to get it connected via Wifi. I have a dozen other Wifi devices in my home (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) which I had no problems with getting set up. But with this hood, I kept getting a server connection error (H9208). This Wifi issue isn't a dealbreaker for me - just disappointing in an otherwise fine product.

Great fan

This thing sucks (pun intended). Honestly I didn't realize how powerful this hood was and it ended up being a bit of an issue when installing it. Because of the 600 CFM on high I had to add an air balancing system for local code and on the recommendation of my installer. It's the fanciest hood I have ever had. The thing senses when the cooktop is on and auto starts at low. Real quite but enough to pull some heat and smoke. When I crank it up to full blast it's pushing a lot of air out of the house but still not any louder than a different fan. I would recommend this to anyone, but know you will want to balance the air in/out so it's going to cost $800-$1,000 more than just the hood.
