I purchased a $ 750 dollar in wall air conditioner and apparently you have to purchase a sleeve separately that Frigidaire doesn't even make for their own unit. After spending hours researching the wall sleeve it wasn't the correct size for the unit.

My new air conditioner works great! I ?? it. It cools my room down within 5-10 minutes. The fan cycles off and on after it has settled into the temperature. I can just set it and forget it. My salesperson recommended Frigidaire and it is perfect!

The reviews here that say this A/C is "quiet" (there are a few) must have a hearing problem or haven't had experience with A/C's. I have to raise my TV sound considerably to hear it over A/C. As mentioned in other reviews, the labeling on the A/C for dif modes, etc (a lot of them) is VERY tiny. I need a magnifier AND a flashlight to see them, and the barely visible pale green light which indicates the one or three that are operating. .The remote turns the A/C on and off. From there it seems to do what it wants. I have not been able to control it. As mentioned above, it shuts off periodically when it's not near the set temp. I set temp very low so it stays on. ? I really tried using the manual directions. Confusing to say the least. Haven't tried it at night. I'm afraid I'll wake up either in a pool of sweat (it turned off) or freezing. Of course one doesn't know these things til A/C is installed. $$$ to uninstall and reinstall another. I chose it because it was a Frigidaire(?) and thought the negative reviewers were just expecting too much.

Air conditioner works quietly and cold, seems to do very well with humidity reduction, compared to old unit. Lights on display are small and hard to see what is illuminated.

As others have said, this unit is louder than anticipated. This means that it interferes with sleeping if in the bedroom. And in a family room, people have to talk over the a/c. I find the thermometer is off by 2-4 degrees making it difficult to regulate the room temperature. In spite of reading the manual several times, I can™™t seem to figure out the differences between the various settings. They all seem to be the same. If I had paid more for the unit, I would have rated it 2 or 3 stars. However, It does cool, but not very quickly.

A/C works fairly well. Is noisier than I expected. But the worst thing is the controls. The indicator lights are way to small to see except at night when the lights are off. Prior Frigidaire models have had much easier-to-read panels and larger indicator lights. During the day , when the sun shines in, it's a guessing game to figure out where the settings are at on the unit, which is positioned in the wall under the window. The remote hasn't been upgraded in years. Disappointed in this wall-through unit - it's not user friendly, difficult to read, etc. Next unit won't be a Frigidaire.

Functionality prefect. At 12,000 btu it cools my whole apartment. My only issue is the dashboard lighting, they are too small and very hard to see.

Used as a window air conditioner. Instructions could have been better for the window use. Aluminum piece you put on the back is easy to bend and very sharp. So far it is a good air conditioner.

Our home has through the wall air conditioners that were at least 15 years old. This year the one in the family room (10,000 BTU) sounded sluggish, so we replaced it with a 12,000 BTU Frigidaire. What a difference! The area is actually cool now and it™™s so much quieter. It was a no brained when we purchased another one one for our dining/ living room.

While we are more than satisfied with the unit/services (appearance, cooling, installation appt., cleanup after techs installed, courtesy of the techs), we are disappointed that the unit is not as quiet as expected! In comparison to other units previously purchased, we definitely would purchase a Frigidaire unit in the future!

I am very pleased with my Frigidaire Air Conditioner. It cools my apartment beautifully. Since it is installed in the wall in the living room I still am able to feel some cool air in my bedroom. I believe I made the correct purchase.

It does what it's supoosed to do which is cool the tiny space of my dining room, galley kitchen and living room. However, the joy of reclining on my couch is gone due to the whoosh of sound from this AC. It gave me such a headache the first few days. Plus I can't tell difference between Eco/Auto - I just want to choose a temperature and have it maintained. It's hard to see the light whilst switching between features. Overall, my apartment is too small to absorb the noise coming from this AC. I will have to return this Frigidaire for a quieter brand.
