We used our dehumidifier for the first time over the weekend and are thrilled with the result. We have a large room that would be difficult to keep cool using air conditioner units due to its size and being open to other parts of the house. The dehumidifier was able to keep the room comfortable all weekend and was easy to empty. We will definitely be relying on this to keep comfortable in the summer months.

We've only owned this for a week, but so far, so good. It's a replacement for a GE dehumidifier that gave up the ghost after six years. It draws the moisture from the air in the musty cellar of a 100+ year-old house. A little pricey, but we felt we needed the larger capacity, and if it lasts it will be a good investment.

I use this to lower humidity in the summer, when I have the widows open in the spring/fall and it moist air comes through, and to remove moisture after showering. I have a roughly 650sq one bedroom apartment. With the doors open, this unit effectively covers the entire space without generating much heat. I can lower the humidity by 20-30% in exchange for just +2-4°F. I can leave it in the living room and it will take care of the bathroom/bedroom humidity after showering in 20-30mins. It has a good shutoff feature, and will switch to blowing out cooler air when it gets close to it's target goal.I find the bucket to be manageable; However, I wish there was a way to remove the top for cleaning. The bucket handle is surprisingly sturdy enough to handle the weight. I would definitely not increase the tank size unless you use the drain feature. The weight is about two gallons of milk, and you only have an inch or so of space at the top. It will spill over if you're not careful or bump into something. The weight is balanced however. I'm a 5'5 Woman and can manage taking it into the bathroom to dump into the shower. A tub would also work well. Forget the sink unless you have strong shoulder muscles and can lift that kind of weight. This is a one-handed lift system. The unit itself is light and portable.I would suggest waiting a few minutes after it beeps - indicate a full tank - prior to dumping the water. It still has about 1/4 cup of water that will try to empty into the tank, but end up in the bottom of the machine if you remove it at the actual beep/shutoff time. That bottom area is sealed plastic, so it won't hurt the machine, but you'll have to wipe it up from there and possibly the floor before returning the tank. It's not a real problem.. very similar situation as your coffee pot. It will drain fully if you just give it a few minutes. Overall I highly recommend this machine.

Great dehumidifier. It pulls a lot of moisture out of the air and is very quiet compared to previous units. Humidity sensor is +/-1% of other humidity sensors in my basement. Overall happy with the new unit.

I am trying this Frigidaire dehumidifier to replace the previous one we had from another company that stopped working. This new one seems to be off to a good start and working well so far! The drain hose cap may have been cross threaded when we received it, it was pretty tough to remove and I had to use a tool, but once I got that off the rest of the setup was pretty easy.

This sleek modern looking de-humidifier really is sturdy machine. It does exactly what product features and what the reviews state. It truly gets the moisture out of the air with ease. Though it™™s a little loud it seems to double as a white noise machine. The sound it makes is somewhat pleasing. I™™m very happy with this high quality purchase so far and would no doubt buy another. Too large and called to return it and ordered the 35 pint unit that hads arrived already. This is my third unit and I would not live eithout it. It removes the humidity from the room. It is quiet and it works well.

So far so good. I bought the 5 year warranty this time around. Last one took a dump after a year....I bought a smaller one but it wasn't worth it imho. Bigger is better, hands down. As far as functionality it works well. I had an identical model with a different name brand on it and it lasted about 7 years. They upgraded the hose attachment to a standard one, thats a plus. Lat one popped off like a straw and made it too risky to use. Pricey but worth it.

Unit has been in service for a few weeks and is doing well. Chose this unit as the largest capacity home unit for a large and humid cellar, and one can feel the difference. Also chose a Frigidaire because we have an older large capacity unit that has served us well. Both are collecting buckets full of condensate that I empty every morning. Good units!

I purchased the 70qt on Amazon Canada May of 2020. By May of 2022 it stopped working with error code F0. Placed on level tile floor and not moved around. Very poor return on my money. My first dehumidifier (not Fridgidaire) lasted 10 years. This unit is still sitting in my basement because I paid so much for so little time I am having a hard time throwing it away.

1. Not as good as the previous models. 2. This unit is larger by width depth and height compared to previous models.3. It does not have a carry handle on top. 4. The water collection bucket has a very small viewing window compared to older models that have a tall narrow window with a red water level indicator. 5. The bucket gets very full causing water spillage when emptying if you are not very careful. 6. Older models did not allow the water to fill to the brim. 7. The dehumidifier continues to run for 10 or 15 seconds after the bucket has been removed allowing some water to get on the floor.8. It took 4 days before the bucket filled up running the dehumidifier in my basement. I don't believe my basement is that dry. think I have a defective unit. The humidity sensor does not seem to be correct. 9. Running on continuous mode the bucket did fill up faster.9. Bottom line. The engineers that redesigned this dehumidifier should be fired. The old design was more user friendly. 10. The older units came with a 5 year compressor warranty These new models only have a one year warranty. Most disappointing.

Put into service on 6/29 and it "lost its refrigerant charge" by 9/19, when I first called 800-944-9044. Was told an RGA would be sent via email. It was not. Called again on 9/26 and Jenn said I'd receive an email within 5 days. None received, so I called on 10/6 and Johnny gave approval 86686185. Received email on 10/10 stating that replacement was approved. Have heard nothing since. Called again today and Charlie told me to call 319-777-7182 with order number 7701808508, where Denise had no record and recommended I call Fareye at 315-633-3329, which replied "user busy" several times. Your Customer Service is broken and I will not purchase any Refrigidaire appliances in the future.

First unit lasted 11 months, given a replacement which only lasted 2 months. My basement humidity is 60 %year round -without a dehumidifier,temperature 70 degrees year round or higher. The unit they replaced with was mfg 19 months before I got it. I set humidity level to 50%. Not a high humidity environment. When I called to have them replace the replacement unit they said it was beyond a year. But you sent me a faulty replacement! $450 for product that is junk! Frigidaire products are going down hill!

Second unit that has stopped dehumidifying because of a refrigerant leak. First one lasted 2 months, this lasted 2.5 months! Wow. For supposedly a long-standing good brand, I don't know if I'd ever buy a Frigidaire product ever again.

I have tried over the past several years a broad variety of dehumidifiers that typically would last only 2-3 years. It was as though they were designed to last just long enough for the warranty to expire. When the humidity got to high the unit couldn't keep up. This higher capacity model cost more than I paid for the ones in the past but WORKS BEAUTIFULLY. Our outdoor humidity has been in the 90% range for several days now and this unit can keep up with the humidity indoors. What a relief! I am very pleased the unit accepts a standard garden hose for running continuously. If you don't want the continuous operation the water will collect in the drawer that is removed from the FRONT of the unit to empty. The only downside to this product is the weight of about 80 lbs. A standard electrical circuit with a 15 amps fuse/circuit breaker is fine.

I™™ve had the unit for one year and it stopped working. RH stuck at 75%; I went on vacation and came back to find an old car seat adjacent to the unit covered in mold. The unit was in a closet in my basement at the time in continuous drain, set to 50% RH. Troubleshooting recommendations in the manual only suggest to lower RH on the panel, which is common sense.

Worked fine June to Oct 2022. Failed June 2023. Purchased 5-year extended warranty from Frigidaire/ Electrolux. OEM Rep said extended warranty was cancelled & refunded. He provided local service providers. Checked my acct on-line & found extended warranty was ™pending™. It was deleted a few days later. Approved Service Provider said OEM has model as ™replacement™ only. They cannot get parts, so they will not work on it. I™™m out $446. I will not buy another Frigidaire product.

This is by far the best dehumidifier we have ever had. We previously had to run two dehumidifiers in our 1600 square foot basement. This one works alone effectively and keeps our basement at a comfortable dry. It actually removed musty odors out of the basement. Great purchase with a great sale price!
